Governance
Integrity guides our actions every day. The
Company has developed a Code of Business Conduct and Ethics to
provide guidance for ethical behavior with which all Calibre workers,
suppliers, and contractors are expected to conduct themselves in
dealing with all stakeholders. The Code has been adopted by our Board
of Directors to summarize the standards of business conduct that must
guide our actions so we act with integrity and ensure that the company
complies with the laws and regulations required of a public company
listed on the Toronto Stock Exchange. The following policies state our
aspirations and commitments across the business:
- Whistleblower Policy
- Disclosure Policy
- Insider Trading Policy
- Diversity Policy
- Advance Notice Policy
- Majority Voting Policy
- Share Ownership and Clawback Policy
Complementary to that, the bedrock of our business model is a set of
policies related to sustainability supported by systems and standards,
procedures and guidelines, metrics, and targets to drive performance
and transparent reporting on process for all Calibre employees and
business partners:
- People Management Principles
- Health & Safety Policies
- Environmental and Social Policies
- Performance Standards
Our policies and standards align substantially with the principles of the
International Council on Mining and Metals (ICMM) and the
International Finance Corporation (IFC).
Calibre is a member of the World Gold Council (“WGC”) and complies
with the WGC’s Responsible Gold Mining Principles. Calibre is also a member of the Mining Association of Canada ("MAC").
