Calibre Announces Investor Relations Contract

Vancouver, British Columbia: Calibre Mining Corp. (TSX-V: CXB) (the "Company" or "Calibre") is pleased to announce that it has retained the services of Mark Carruthers to provide in-house investor relations services on a month to month basis beginning October 21, 2010. Mr. Carruthers has previously worked in a marketing and support function for other junior public companies. In consideration of the services to be provided, the Company has agreed to pay a monthly fee of C$4,000 and has granted Mr. Carruthers 250,000 stock options exercisable at a price of $0.15 for a period of five (5) years from the date of grant. These options are granted subject to the Company's Stock Option Plan, and will have vesting provision such that 25% of the options are available upon the date of the grant, and 25% become available every six months thereafter. These agreements are subject to regulatory approval and all terms will be subject to and in accordance with the policies and rules of the TSX Venture Exchange.
